Tools Menu

The Tools menu includes a list of commands that are generally available from all modules and views. These options open dialogs to configure the process that is being invoked, and the details for these options are included in the Help sections that document those dialogs.

• Manage Templates Overview.
• Import Wizard Overview.
• Export Wizard Overview.
• Generate System Forecast.
• Import from XML.
• Generate XDriver Forecast.
• Generate XDriver Session Forecast.
• Generate Portfolio ADU Forecast.
• Generate Portfolio ADU Session Forecast.
• Publish All Schedules.
• Export All Forecast to XML.
• Calculate All Statistics.

In addition, the Tools menu includes options that are specific to List tabs and Data tabs. These include:

• Export Grid to Excel. Available from views with a data grid or list
• Show Dependents. Available from List tabs and other Tabs to show the list of objects in the database that depend on the selected item(s).

Finally, there are options on the Tools menu that are only available in specific modules.

• System Monitor Configuration. Configures charts and tables for viewing on the System Monitor Module.
• Weather Configuration. Configures the weather concepts, weather stations, weather zones, weather regions, weather groups, weather scenarios, and weather forecast providers in the Weather Module.
• XDriver Configuration. Configures XDriver concepts in the XDrivers Module.
• Refresh XDriver Session Data from Master. This command is described in the XDriver Tools section and is available on the Tools menu in the XDrivers Module and the Models Module.
• Manage Holiday Sets. Configures holiday definitions used in the Models Module and Five-Minute Models Module.
• Manage Weight Sets. Configures the weather forecast weights, backcast calibration weights, and blending weights used in the Models Module and Five-Minute Models Module.
• Manage TOU Parameter Sets. Configures the time-of-use parameters in the Five-Minute Models Module.
• Manage Cross Day Bias Set. Configures the cross-day bias sets in the Five-Minute Models Module.
• Calibration Rule Configuration. Configures the top-down calibration rules in the Schedule Module.
• Rule Configuration. Configures the archive rules and backcast rules in the Backcasts & Archives Module.
• Add Compare Tool. Adds a group of contributors to compare items in the Compare Reports Module.
• Forecast Monitor Configuration. Configures the forecast and load types in the Forecast Monitor Module.
