Five-Minute Models Module

MetrixIDR supports a range of Data Filtering and Modeling options designed to accurately forecast a broad range of real-time, five-minute load data. The purpose of the Five-Minute Model Module is to configure models and generate forecasts at the five-minute level for one or more meters. A full description of the forecasting framework is included in the Five-Minute Model Forecast Framework section.

This Module has four tabs:

• List Tab. Lists the models and their characteristics.
• Data Tab. Displays historical load data for each model.
• Estimation Tab. Shows predicted values, estimated coefficients, and statistics.
• Forecast Tab. Displays model forecast data for the Forecast Window.

The Five-Minute Models Module includes a set of actions and properties only available in this module. These actions and properties are described below.

• Five-Minute Model Actions. This section discusses eight actions only available in the Models Module. These actions are available in the Actions Menu an on the Toolbar and include the following:

  • Export to MetrixND.

  • Estimate.

  • Forecast.

  • Filter Data.

  • Import Project File.

  • Export Project File.

• Five-Minute Model Properties. This section describes the properties associated with each model. These properties are used to configure new models.

The Models Module contains configuration tools relevant to configuring and forecasting models. These tools available in the Tools Menu and discussed in the following sections.

• Manage Weight Sets.
• Manage Holiday Sets.
• Manage TOU Parameter Sets.
• Manage Cross Day Bias Set.
