XDrivers Module

XDrivers are exogenous inputs into models and modifiers to forecast outputs. XDrivers are applied in the Models Module, Five-Minute Models Module,Portfolio Module, and Schedule Module.

The XDrivers Module displays the XDrivers and allows the user to configure new XDrivers. This module has three tabs, four tabs in LT Mode:

• List Tab. List of XDrivers and their characteristics.
• Data Tab. Displays the XDriver Data.
• Forecast Tab. Displays XDriver Forecast data for the time horizon.
• Monthly Scenario Tab (LT Mode Only). Displays Monthly Long-Term XDriver Data.

The XDriver Module includes a set of actions, properties, and tools only available in this module. These actions are available on the Actions Menu and Tools Menu.

• XDriver Actions. This section discusses unique action only available in the XDrivers Module. The action available in the Actions Menu an on the Toolbar is the following:

  • Forecast

• XDriver Properties. This section describes the properties associated with each XDriver. These properties are used to configure new XDrivers.

• XDriver Tools. This section discusses Tools relevant to XDrivers. These tools include the following.

  • Generate XDriver Forecast.

  • Generate XDriver Session Forecast.

  • Refresh XDriver Session Data from Master.

• XDriver Configuration. This section describes the XDriver Configuration tool. This tool is used to define and manage XDriver Concepts. Starting with Version 7.2, this tool includes a toolbar button that is unique to the XDrivers Module.

  • Calibrate

Logic to support calibration of a group of XDrivers to a control total or parent XDriver was added in version 7.2. Steps to configure calibration groups are provided in the final section of Help for the XDrivers Module.
