Manage Templates Overview

Templates are MetrixND project files that configure data tables, transformation tables, and statistical models. Templates are used in MetrixIDR as a way to apply custom model specifications in the modeling modules. When a template is used, MetrixIDR opens the template, populates the template with data from the system database, estimates the model, retrieves the model parameters and predicted values, and stores these results in the system database. The Manage Templates dialog allows the user to bring Templates into the system, which then allows them to be assigned to modeling tasks. To access the Manage Templates Dialog, Select the Manage Templates option from the Tools menu. Templates available to the system are displayed in folders organized by periodicity (Hourly, Half-Hourly, Quarter-Hourly, Five Minute and Daily). From this dialog the user may perform the following actions:

• Add Template.
• Remove Template.
• Export Template.
• Replace Template.
• Replace Score Project.
• Export Score Project.
