Data Tab

The Data Tab in the Five-Minute Models section behaves similarly to the Data Tab in the Models Module. The Tab provides access to the historical data for the data source meter assigned to the model. The user can select to view the data in either Load Level or Ramp Rate space. In addition, the user can select to view the Historical values, Filtered values, or the Difference between the historical and filtered values. Three selection boxes are available on the toolbar for determining the series selection.

  • Model Selection. The model from the list of models.
  • Series Selection. The Series Selection has two options. The Level series is the actual data series. The Ramp Rate series is the first difference series. The first difference is calculated as the current interval value minus the prior interval value.
  • Filter Selection. The Filter Selection has three options and are based on the Series Selection. Historical shows the actual data series as defined as Level or Ramp Rate. Filtered shows the smoothed series as a result of the Filter Data action (Five-Minute Model Actions). Difference is the difference between the Historical and Filtered selections.

The full range of historical data is available for viewing. However, the displayed range is based on the Date Range, Zoom and the Data Range Selection Bar.

Chart View

The chart view displays the interval data for the selected item. The following eight (8) series are displayed.

  • Reading. Actual values from the contributing meter data.
  • Filtered. Filtered values as a result of the Filter Data action (Five-Minute Model Actions).
  • Difference. Difference between the Actual and Filtered Values. These values are plotted using the 2nd y-axis.
  • Bad. Data with the Bad status.
  • Filled. Edited values.
  • Load Control. Data with the Load Control status.
  • Load Event. Data with the Load Event status.
  • Incomplete. Data with the Incomplete status.

Remaining controls to show/hide the chart, set the zoom level, and set scaling options work the same as on standard Data Tabs.

Grid View

The bottom section of the Data tab shows the data for the selected item. Only Historical data selections may be edited (Filled) or marked as Bad, Load Control, and Load Event. Filtered and Difference selections cannot be edited. When Historical data are edited, both the Level and Ramp Rate series are marked as Filled. The grid presents the data for the selected item, with one column per interval and one row per day of data. The right-click menu provides easy access to marking data status.

Right-Click Menu

The Right-Mouse Menu allow quick access to marking data points. This menu is available in the Chart and Grid Views. The following actions are available.

  • Bad. This action changes the data point's Bad status.
  • Load Control. This action changes the data point's Load Control status.
  • Load Event. This action changes the data point's Load Event status.
  • Clear All Status. This action clears the Bad, Load Control, and Load Event status for the data point.
  • Delete. This status deletes the data point.

Actions

The following common actions are available on the Five-Minute Models Data Tab toolbar and in the View, Actions, and Tools menus.

The following actions are only available in the Five-Minute Models Module in the Actions menu and on the toolbar. These actions are further described in the Five-Minute Model Actions section.

  • Export to MetrixND.
  • Estimate.
  • Forecast.
  • Filter Data.
  • Import Project File.
  • Export Project File.

The Five-Minute Models Module contains configuration tools relevant to configuring and forecasting models. These tools are discussed in the following sections.
