List Tab
The XDriver List Tab shows the XDrivers. The list displays XDriver characteristics such as XDriver ID, Concept, and description in each column. A detailed explanation of configurable columns is located in XDriver Properties on the General Tab.
The XDrivers are custom variables used as independent variables in models or as modifiers to a generated forecast. Explanatory variables for weather concepts, calendar information, and solar conditions (i.e., sunrise, sunset, and Daylight-Saving Time) are managed through other elements of the system, and XDrivers should not be used for these concepts. However, XDrivers should be used for any other concept relevant to the forecast problem.
Actions
The following common actions are available on the View Menu, Actions Menu, and Tab toolbar:
- Save.
- Discard.
- Refresh.
- Edit (XDriver Properties).
- Add.
- Delete.
- Duplicate.
- Filter Editor.
- Filter by Selection.
- Apply Filter.
- Clear Filter.
- Save Filter.
- Show Auto Filter Row.
- Column Chooser.
- Export Grid to Excel.
- Commit Item Forecast to Master.
- Refresh Item Forecast from Master.
- Show Dependents.
- Delete Data .
- Export to XML.
The following action is only available in the XDriver Module in the Actions menu and on the toolbar.
- Extend Scenario Data (LT Mode Only). This action is fully described in the XDriver Actions section.
- Forecast. This action is fully described in the XDriver Actions section.
Set Data Values. This option on the Actions menu allows the user to set data values for a time range by providing a Start Date, End Date and Value. A checkbox option enables overwritting of existing values.
The following action is only available in the XDriver Module in the Tools Menu.
