Apply Filter

Use the Apply Filter command to toggle previously-defined filters on or off. This command is not enabled unless a filter is defined. Define filters using the Filter by Selection command or by using the Filter Editor.

To activate the Apply Filter command, select the Apply Filter option from the View menu or press the corresponding Toolbar button.

• If the filter exists but has not been applied, then the list is restricted to the set of qualifying items.
• If the filter exists and has been applied, then the filter is removed and the full list is shown.

The filter definition is not affected by the Apply toggle actions. To clear the filter definition, use the Clear Filter command.
