XDriver Actions
The following common actions are available in the Actions Menu:
- Edit.
- Add.
- Delete.
- Duplicate.
- Commit Item Forecast to Master.
- Refresh Item Forecast from Master.
- Delete Data .
The following action is only available in the XDriver Module in the Actions menu and on the toolbar.
- Extend Scenario Data (LT Mode Only). Utilizes one of three methods, Trend, Last Month, Last Year. The method is assigned on the XDriver Info Form.
- Last Year. This method rotates most recent 12 months of data. For example, if the most recent monthly value is for Dec 2012, Jan 2013 will be set equal to Jan 2012, Feb 2013 will equal Feb 2012, and so on.
- Last Month. This method duplicates the last month of data. For example, if the most recent monthly value is for Dec 2012 the all future forecast values will be set equal to the value for Dec 2012.
- Trend. Using the most recent 13 months of data, utilize the month to month ramp rate to rote the data. For example, if the most recent monthly value is for Dec 2012, the value for Jan 2013 will be computed as Dec 2012 + (Jan 2012/Dec 2011). The value for Feb 2013 will be the computed value for Jan 2013 + (Feb 2012/Jan 2012).
- Forecast. The Forecast command generates a forecast for the selected item(s). When manually executed, the Forecast command will always recompute the forecast. When forecasting is run as a task, the Data Last Updated and Data Last Forecasted Fields are used to determine if the forecast for an item needs to be updated. If the Data Last Forecasted date is less that the Date Last Updated date, then the forecast action will be executed for the item.
