Commit Item Forecast to Master

Forecasts that are accessible to all users are referred to as the Master forecast. When a forecast is generated on the Server by a Scheduled Task (Manage Tasks), the forecast is saved as the Master forecast. When a user generates an item forecast, the forecast is located in the user Session and is not visible to other users. This is identified in the user interface by a disk drive icon shown in the row header for the model. If this icon is present, the user has a session forecast for the item. If this icon is not present, the user does not have a session forecast for the item. The Commit Item Forecast to Master action saves the selected forecast items in the user Session to the Master forecast.

When this action is completed for an item, the session icon in the row header will be cleared, indicating that the user no longer has a Session forecast for this item.
