Action Roles Tab
The Action Roles tab displays the Action Role IDs available in the system. Each row defines an available Action Role. To add an Action Role, select the Add action on the toolbar and configure the following fields. The fields in the Action Role list define high-level settings for each role:
- Role ID. Action Role identifier.
- Description. Description of role.
- Start Date Offset. Assigns a Start Date Offset on which to begin a forecast for a specified role.
- Forecast Days. Assigns the duration of a forecast for a specified role.
- Forecast Monitor Role. Indicates that the specified role applies to Forecast Monitor application.
- MetrixIDR Client Role. Indicates that the specified role applies to MetrixIDR application.
- Longterm Client Role. Indicates that the specified role applies to the Long Term application.
- Show Forecast Monitor. Indicates that the specified role will be able to view the Forecast Monitor Module
- Show System Monitor. Indicates that the specified role will be able to view the System Monitor Module.
- Show Weather. Indicates that the specified role will be able to view the Weather Module.
- Show XDrivers. Indicates that the specified role will be able to view the XDrivers Module.
- Show Meters. Indicates that the specified role will be able to view the Meters Module .
- Show Meter Groups. Indicates that the specified role will be able to view the Meter Groups Module.
- Show Models. Indicates that the specified role will be able to view the Models Module.
- Show Portfolios. Indicates that the specified role will be able to view the Portfolio Module.
- Show Schedules. Indicates that the specified role will be able to view the Schedule Module.
- Show Five Mins. Indicates that the specified role will be able to view the Five-Minute Models Module.
- Show Archives. Indicates that the specified role will be able to view the Backcasts & Archives Module.
- Show Medium Term. Indicates that the specified role will be able to view the Medium Term Module.
- Show Compares. Indicates that the specified role will be able to view the Compare Reports Module.
- Show Reports. Indicates that the specified role will be able to view the Reports Module.
- Edit Window Type. Assigns the unit type for a specific date range over which to publish. Values in this field can be Daily, Hourly, or Interval. If left undefined, then the unit type can be edited in the Publish Forecast dialog.
- Edit Window Duration. Assigns the duration over which to publish, e.g., 7 days. If left undefined, then the duration can be edited in the Publish Forecast dialog.
- Edit Window Offset. Assigns the start day on which to publish, e.g., if the desired start day is tomorrow, then the value entered would be "1". If left undefined, then the offset start day can be edited in the Publish Forecast dialog.
- Edit Window Duration Default. Assigns the default duration over which to publish. If left undefined, then the duration defaults to the value assigned in the EditWindowDuration field.
- Edit Window Offset Default. Assigns the default start day on which to publish. If left undefined, then the offset defaults to the value assigned in the EditWindowOffset field.
- Published Forecast Type. Specifies the type of forecast to be published. The default value for this field is FORECAST. If the ExportOnPublish system setting is True, this value will be stored in the EXPORT_FORECAST_INFO.FCSTTYPE field when the forecast is published.
