System Menu

The System menu contains the commands to view system Logs and manage system configuration data. The System Menu is the same regardless of the module that is open in the Workspace. Options on this menu are:

• View Event Log. This command opens the Event Log to view system forecast activity.
• View Configuration Log. This command opens the Configuration Log to view configuration activity.
• Manage Alerts. This command sets up alerts for various system conditions.
• Manage Tasks. This command opens the Manage Tasks dialog to configure automated tasks.
• Manage Security. This command allows administrative users to create Security Roles and assign groups of users to each Security Role to control access to the MetrixIDR system.
• Client List Import Configuration. This command managed client data for Energy Retail system implementations.
• System Settings. This command manages the overall system settings including the default forecast period.
• Similar Day Parameters. This command manages the default Similar Day Parameters used in the Schedule Module.
• Configure Email Notification. This command configures email notifications for alerts and system status.
• Run Command. This command allows a user to configure a command line to execute from within MetrixIDR.
