System Settings

System Settings are managed through the System Settings option on the System menu. Selecting this option brings up the System Settings dialog which has three tabs:

• System Parameters Tab.
• System Settings Tab.
• Code Tables Tab.

The System Parameter Tab provides access to a fixed set of system parameters, including diverse items like the number of lag days, degree day cut points, event log days to keep, and gas day parameters. The System Parameters apply to all users of the system and should be modified with care. Details on the parameters are provided in the System Configuration chapter of the Help.

The System Settings Tab provides access to a long list of settings. The settings are grouped as follows:

• MetrixIDR UI.
• MetrixIDR Services.
• Forecast Monitor UI.
• Forecast Monitor Services.
• DB Info.

The Code Tables is the last tab on the System Settings dialog. This tab contains configuration data for Forecast Monitor. The Code Tables dialog allows the user to add, edit, and delete various concepts used in Forecast Monitor. In addition, the dialog allows the user to configure and edit the Forecast Monitor display settings. Details on the parameters that can be set on the Code Tables are provided in the System Settings section of the System Configuration chapter of the Help.
