Resolved issues
This section lists significant issues that have been addressed in this Temetra Analysis release.
3436687: Incorrect NRW values
In Operational Visibility, non-revenue water (NRW) values displayed incorrect percentages. This issue has been resolved. The following calculations apply to total loss and NRW values:
-
Total Loss = (supplied volume) - (metered consumption)
-
Total Losses (split) = (real losses) + (apparent losses)
-
NRW = (total losses) / (supplied volume) * 100
NRW values are limited so that maximum NRW does not exceed +/-100%.

Enhancements
This section lists new or updated functionality included in this Temetra Analysis release.
3145389: Support for mixed DMA read frequencies (monthly, daily, hourly)
In Operational Visibility, DMAs now support the following meter-reading combinations:
-
Daily + hourly
-
Daily + monthly
-
Monthly + daily + hourly
-
Monthly + hourly
This allows for water balance calculations to be performed for customers with mixed frequency data sets (for example, hourly, daily, and monthly interval data). Previously, a DMA needed to have the same frequency of interval data for all service points contained within the DMA. This makes the solution more flexible for customers who are in the process of migrating from manual/drive-by meter readings to AMI.
3326193: Sector status card enhancement
Improvements to the dashboard Sector Status card have been made to improve readability.
3339324: Added water quality station details
In Transmission Mains Monitoring, a panel displaying details for Water Quality Monitoring Stations appears on the Sector Entity page if there are any water quality stations associated with that sector.
3339356: Pump station import enhancement
The pump station configuration import functionality has been updated to allow one or more flow sensors and pressure sensors to be assigned to a pump station. The update also allows a formula to be assigned to a pump station to calculate KPIs related to pump station efficiency.
3339372: Pump station data chart
Transmission Mains Monitoring now features a chart for visualizing pump station data. Users can create a pump station and assign flow sensors, pressure sensors, and energy sensors to the pump station. Formulas can be created to calculate KPIs related to the efficiency of the pump stations. Users can select the pump station to navigate to the pump station entity page, where they can view the raw data and KPIs associated with the pump station.
3339387: Added support for monitoring pumps and pump stations
Transmission Mains Monitoring now supports monitoring pumps and pump stations. Users can select a pump station icon on the Transmission Mains Monitoring map or table to navigate to the entity screen for that pump station to view underlying data and details.
3340434: Added sensor type icons
Transmission Mains Monitoring now features map icons for the following sensor types:
-
Flow sensor (Q) - [ l/s, l/h, l/m, gal (US)/s, gal (US)/m, gal (US)/h ]
-
Water level sensor (H) - [ m ]
-
Pressure sensor (P) - [ bar, mH2o ]
-
Index based volumetric sensor (I) - [ m3 ]
-
Volumetric sensor (V) - [ m3 ]
-
Energy sensor (E) - [ kWh ]
-
Current sensor (A) - [ A ]
-
PowerFactor sensor (PF) - [ N/A ]
-
PumpSpeed sensor (N) - [ rpm ]
-
Power Sensor (POW) - [ w, hp(e) ]
3351974: Detect Endpoints with No Reads support for meter replacement
The Detect Endpoints with No Reads report in Event Investigation now handles endpoint replacements to ensure that the event remains open until a new reading is received for the new endpoint following a meter replacement. The LastReadDate contains the reading date from the historical meter prior to the replacement. The Detect Endpoints with No Reads event closes when a new reading comes into the system for the new meter associated with the service point.
3362835: User interface enhancements
User experience improvements have been implemented across various areas of the application:
-
Dashboard cards for Real Loss (RL) and Apparent Loss (AL) now show DMAs in descending order instead of ascending order.
-
The List of Region table columns are now shown in a default order based on usefulness instead of ascending order. For example, Water Supplied and Metered Consumption should appear first.
-
The List of DMAs table in list view now includes three links on each DMA row: Entity (water droplet icon), DMA ID, and Description.
3394707: Support for power sensor data
Power sensor data support has been added to allow for the monitoring of power usage of a given distribution asset, such as a pump.
3421988: Column headers to indicate monthly or daily data
In Operational Visibility, text has been added to table column headers to describe whether a column depicts monthly or daily data.
Resolved issues
This section lists significant issues that have been addressed in this Temetra Analysis release.
3347073: EntityPolygon configuration file issue
An issue affecting the import of polygon configuration files for Region entities has been resolved.
3350424: Customer leakage score issue
In Event Investigation, high customer leakage scores were being calculated for service points that did not have associated readings. This issue has been resolved.
3317070: Missing endpoint readings in user interface
Readings for some service points displayed incorrectly in Temetra Analysis, even though the data for those readings existed in the database. This issue has been resolved.

A mismatch occurred between the number of service points being reported in Operational Visibility and the number of service points being reported in Event Investigation. This issue has been resolved. Changes resulting from adding, removing, or reassigning a service point for a DMA are now accurately reflected in both Operational Visibility and Event Investigation.
3392166: Tooltip placement and transparency on graphs
Tooltip information bubbles on graphs obstructed the view of chart data. This has been addressed by adjustments to the position and transparency of tooltips shown on hover so that the user can see underlying graphical data while mousing over a particular point on the chart.
3401780: Calculation jobs remaining in progress over time
Some calculation jobs were observed remaining in an in-progress state for prolonged periods of time. This issue has been resolved. Calculation jobs that have not completed or are partially completed after a 24-hour period are now automatically aborted and given a status of Failed. This update allows users and Itron Support to diagnose any issues with calculations.
3422025/3441732: Calculation jobs failed
Some calculation jobs failed due to an internal system timeout and other technical issues. This issue has been resolved.
3436694: N/A value shown for losses
Water loss calculation jobs resulted in a displayed value of N/A in water balance tables. This issue has been resolved.

3149012: Low-frequency data import support
The meter interval reading (indices) import file, Indices.csv, has been improved to ensure continuity of meter consumption data following a meter change-out and eliminate scenarios in which meter change-outs result in significant negative spikes in measured consumption.
3169679: Persistence of pinned column in regions table
in Operational Visibility, the List of Regions table now allows for a column to be pinned by a user and remain pinned after the user has navigated to a different screen. For more information, see List of regions.
3175520: Identification of duplicate Imports and type mismatches
Improvements to the data import process have been made to automatically identify duplicate meter/sensor IDs and device-type mismatches. Users are notified of the existence of duplications or mismatches so that the appropriate actions can be taken. This functionality minimizes data-cleaning activities associated with data imports and ongoing management of the system.
3187228: Water balance daily, monthly, and hourly selection enhancement
On the Operational Visibility Region page, the icons denoting daily/monthly/hourly water balance have been relocated and combined to create more space for the chart and scrolling bars. The icon changes to indicate the current selection. For more information, see DMA chart.
3189390: Updated equations for polygon color coding
For maps in Operational Visibility maps with Priority KPI color coding and map legends, the equations used to define the color-coding thresholds of DMA polygons have been refined. For more information, see Region map and DMA map.
3194880: DMA IDs and descriptions added to dashboard cards
On the Dashboard, DMA IDs and DMA descriptions have been added to dashboard cards to allow for easy identification. This enhancement applies to the Decile Analysis, DMA Overview, and Large Consumers dashboard cards.
3217403: Added columns to sensor file import
The Sensor.csv import file supports new configuration attributes for sensors, including Dial Resolution, EndpointID, and Comments. The inclusion of Dial Resolution for sensors is primarily used for an index meter to allow for the automatic detection of rollover events, maintaining continuity of data following the rollover and improving the quality of the data displayed in Temetra Analysis. The inclusion of EndpointID indicates which communication endpoint provides connectivity for a sensor, which is helpful in diagnosing problems if data is not being routinely delivered for a particular sensor. The inclusion of Comments allows users to provide commentary, notes, or descriptions about particular sensors.
3217406: Filtered column highlighting enhancement
Tables with columns that support filtering now feature highlighted column headers for columns with filters applied, allowing for easy identification of filtered columns. These column headers appear in a different color than unfiltered column headers.
3222176: Added Dial Configuration field to meter configuration
The Meter.csv configuration file now supports a Dial Configuration field. When combined with meter register data, this field allows for the automated detection of meter rollovers, maintaining continuity of water consumption data following a meter rollover event. This enhancement enables users to view the Dial Configuration of a given metering asset and ensures the quality of the data displayed in Temetra Analysis.
3222525: Support for meter index import to ignore non-meter device data
For the in Meter Index Import (Indices.csv), a new feature has been implemented to automate data cleaning and avoid data duplication when non-meter sensor data is included. Temetra Analysis now automatically recognizes non-meter sensor data in a Meter Index Import file, ignores that data, and notifies the user that non-meter sensor data will be ignored during the import. This ensures that data import files contain only meter-related data and improves the quality of the data displayed in Temetra Analysis.

3148554: List of DMAs table usability improvement
On Operational Visibility Region pages, the List of DMAs table (list view) includes a usability improvement. Previously, selecting the same row twice would cancel the current DMA selection. Selecting a DMA row a second time would cause all other panels to shift to region mode and show region information. Now, users must select another DMA or region to access the desired data instead of deselecting the current selection.
3166732: Expanded account type support
Temetra Analysis now supports the identification of a broader range of account types beyond the previously supported options (Residential, Commercial, Industrial, and null). Sixty-two new account types (including null, now labeled as Unknown) are now supported for the ServicePointv2.csv import file (AccountTypeId column) and the user interface to accommodate these enhancements.
