Daily Statistics Tab

The Daily Statistics Tab displays daily summary statistics for the selected Meter Group and Contributor. The top section of this tab is the Chart View and provides two graphs plotting the daily statistics. The bottom section of the tab is the Grid View and numerically displays the daily statistics. The displayed range is based on the Date Range option settings and the Data Range Selection Bar.

The presented statistics are computed from the Meter Group's historical interval data. The statistic's time scope is defined by the Data Statistics Calculation Length parameter in the System Settings, System Parameters Tab. This parameter is defined in days and specifies the number of days prior to the end of the meter’s interval data to include in the calculation. Statistics are calculated using the Calculate Statistic action (Meter Group Actions).

Chart View

The Chart View contains two displays of the daily statistics. Values for individual days are viewed by selecting a data point on either the top or bottom chart.

  • Top Chart. The top chart shows energy values. High Load Hour (HLH) and Low Load Hour (LLH) energy values are displayed using the primary y-axis. The sum of the HLH and LLH values is the total daily energy. Daily maximum, minimum, and average values are displayed using the second y-axis. These values are plotted in the chart using symbols in the chart.
  • Bottom Chart. The bottom chart shows Load Factor, Day Fraction, and data completion statistics. Load Factor and Day Fraction are plotted on the primary y-axis. Day Fraction is the fraction of energy use that occurs during daytime hours. Percent Complete is the percentage of intervals for the day that have non-missing data during the statistics calculation. Pct Complete is plotted on the second y-axis.

Grid View

The bottom section displays daily statistics for the selected Meter Group and Contributor. Statistics presented on this tab are listed below.

  • Energy. The sum of the daily energy for the day.
  • HLH Energy. The sum of the energy during high-load hours, defined as 7 AM to 10 PM Monday through Saturday.
  • LLH Energy. The sum of the energy during low-load hours, defined as Hours 1 AM to 6 AM and 11 PM –12 PM Monday through Saturday and all hours on Sunday.
  • Min Value, Peak Value, Avg Value. The minimum, maximum and average load.
  • Load Factor. The ratio of the average load to the peak load.
  • Day Fraction. The fraction of energy use that occurs during daytime hours (defined as 8 AM to 8 PM)
  • Pct Complete. The percentage of the interval for the days that have non-missing data.
