User Security

The User Security page is located under the Platform Security menu. Use this page to add users and assign roles that control access to different portals, dashboards, and functions in Itron Analytics. You can also remove and modify users on this page.

Caution: Ensure that at least one user is always assigned to a role that has access to the Security function type, Admin Portal app, and does not have denied functions. This ensures that your utility will always be able to edit users and roles.

• Editing user inactivity timeout settings

• Linking a user using Windows Active Directory

• Creating a user using Itron-hosted Azure Active Directory

• Linking a user using utility-hosted Azure Active Directory

• Linking a group using utility-hosted Azure Active Directory

• Granting Identity Tenant Admin role to manage users and groups

• Deleting a user

• Editing a user

• Resetting a user's password using Itron-hosted Azure Active Directory
