ADU Forecast Tab

The ADU Forecast Tab displays the daily ADU and Customer forecast for each Portfolio item. These values are obtained when the Generate Portfolio ADU Forecast (Portfolio Tools) or Generate Portfolio ADU Session Forecast (Portfolio Tools) is initiated. The displayed data is based on the Portfolio and ADU/Customer selection boxes on the Toolbar. The top section, Chart View, graphically displays the data. The bottom section, Grid View, numerically displays the data. The full range of forecast data is available for viewing. However, the displayed range is based on the Date Range, Zoom and the Data Range Selection Bar.

The ADU/Customer selection box controls whether ADU (Average Daily Use) or Customer count forecast data are displayed. The selections are defined below.

  • ADU. ADU is the total average daily use for all customers in the designated portfolio on the specified date. The units of the ADU are defined by the UOM field on the Portfolio List and represent average daily use, calculated over a full annual cycle. ADU data may be edited.
  • Customers. The number of customers that are active in the designated portfolio item on the specified date. This field is for informational purposes only and is not used in calculation of the portfolio forecast. Customer data may be edited.

Chart View

The graphical display shows the ADU or Customer forecast for the selected Portfolio. Selecting a data point on the graph displays the numerical value.

Grid View

The numerical display shows the ADU or Customer forecast for the selected Portfolio. Data in the grid may be edited or deleted. Edits are made by selecting a cell and writing the numerical value. Edits are not saved to the database until the Save button is selected. All changes from the last save action may be deleted using the Discard button. Within the grid, the right-click menu is available when a row, a group of cells, or a single cell is highlighted.

Right-Click Menu

The Right-Mouse Menu allow quick access to deleting data points. This menu is only available in the Grid View.
