Diagnostics and troubleshooting
Use Diagnostics to view more information about the selected service point, to troubleshoot failed requests, and to resolve queue items.
The information that displays in Diagnostics depends on the IEE queue or monitor you are using. For example, the AMI billing export queue Diagnostics window shows calculated bill determinants, but the AMI contingency read monitor does not. The reading validation queue Diagnostics window shows queue item status by individual validation rule.
Diagnostics is available in the following queues and monitors:
-
AMI Billing Export Queue
-
AMI Data Export Queue (Item Details window)
-
AMI Contingency Read Monitor
-
Reading Validation Queue
Note: You must have a service point ID to view Diagnostics. If the exception is a service point ID resolution problem, Diagnostics is disabled.
From the Diagnostics window, you can return to the Queue window by clicking the Queue button in the top pane.
Note: The name of this button differs depending on from which monitoring screen you access the diagnostics information.
Tip: Some panes load faster than others. Wait until all data is loaded before you proceed. Disabling the log indicators by clearing the checkbox next to each item improves system performance.
