Operator team maintenance
Use Operator Team Maintenance to perform the following tasks:
-
Create, modify, and delete operator teams
-
Add and remove users from operator teams
-
Activate and deactivate operator teams
An operator team is a group of IEE users that have the security permissions to work as queue operators. IEE administrators can assign any user to any operator team.
In most cases, administrators create operator teams to group operators together based on shared characteristics. For example, an operator team can represent a group of operators that share an area of expertise, such as knowledge of a particular meter type, exception type, or region.
Operator teams are primarily used by queue administrators when managing queue item assignments. For example, administrators can filter the queue operator list by operator team to match queue items to appropriate queue operators quickly and easily.
One operator can be a member of many operator teams. There is no limit on the number of operators that can be assigned to an operator team. However, IEE limits the number of queue operator user accounts to 200.
Operator teams do not assign security permissions, IEE settings, or network access to members. For more information about user security and access, see Managing Workgroups.
