Navigating the AMI data export queue

The AMI Data Export Queue has three tab views as well as a diagnostics pane to help you monitor data export requests and drill down to the service point channel to view diagnostic information. IEE offers several options for screen navigation between the different AMI Data Export tabs and their different levels of detail.

Note: You must have the necessary security role permissions to modify an AMI Data Export Request. For more information, see User role permissions: Descriptions

To drill up and down between views, displaying different levels of data, select a record in the grid pane, double-click the record, or either select the appropriate button or use the right-click menu option.

Using the tabs at the top of the Queue window display empty views or display information from the previous drill-down.

AMI Data Export Queue Workflow

  1. When the AMI Data Export Queue is opened at the beginning of a session, the Summary view tab displays with no data. Click the Filter button and specify the filter criteria to populate the Summary View.

  2. From the Summary View grid pane, select one or more request records and drill-down to the Item view tab for the selected records, displaying the items in each request. The initial filter criteria specified on the Summary View is still intact.

  3. From the Item View, select a request item and view Item details tab for that request (drilling down even further, providing detail on each request item).

  4. From the Item Details view, select a service point channel and view Diagnostics and troubleshooting for that channel.
