XDriver Scenarios
This tab was added in Version 6.5 to support configuration for XDriver Scenarios for use in the Medium-Term module. The tab contains a list grid, with one row for each Scenario. The Properties for a scenario are minimal, including an ID and display settings. Scenario names must be unique.
ScenarioID. A unique identifier for the scenario.
Description. An optional description for the scenario.
Display Order. The order in which the scenarios should be displayed when used in combo boxes throughout the application
Display Color. This controls the color to use to display the X-Driver data for the X-Driver scenario.
XDriver data can be imported into Scenarios using the XDriverID and ScenarioID as identifiers in the import files. Starting in Version 7.2, data can also be generated using calibration logic to calibrate a group of XDrivers to agree with a control total values in a Parent XDriver. To implement this approach, the Scenario ID must be assigned as the Calibration Destination for the XDriver Concept to which the XDriver variables are assigned.
New Scenarios may be added using the Add button on the toolbar. Concepts may be removed by using the Delete button. The available common actions on the Toolbar are for this tab are listed below.
Actions
The dialog displays the list of available XDrivers concepts. New concepts may be added using the Add button on the toolbar. Concepts may be removed by using the Delete button. The available common actions on the Toolbar are listed below.
An additional action is available to execute XDriver Calibration calculations manually from the XDriver Concepts tab on the XDriver Configuration dialog. On the XDriver Concepts tab, select the Concept or Concepts you wish to calibrate and press the second to last button on the tab toolbar.
Calibrate XDrivers
This action will find XDriver groups for the selected concepts based on the presence of a Calibration Parent XDriver entry on the XDriver List tab. Calibration calculations will be executed for these groups for the full time-frame of the Parent XDriver.
Calibration calculations can also be executed as scheduled or unscheduled tasks. Tasks can be configured to run calculations for Concepts with calibration groups or for a subset of Concepts that pass through a filter based on concept properties (for example, CUSTOM1 = ‘PV’).
Creating and Managing New XDriver Scenarios
New XDriver Scenarios may be created by selecting the Add button on the XDriver Configuration toolbar. The command creates a new Scenario line which requires configuration by filling in the characteristic columns. Starting with version 7.2, XDriver Scenarios can also be added using a standard list import.
