Reports Actions
The following common actions are available on the Reports List Tab:
The following action is only available in the Reports Module and can be taken from the Actions Menu or toolbar.
Run Report
This action runs the selected report or reports. The report data are calculated and presented in a report window. If multiple reports are selected, a separate window will appear for each of the selected item. To run a report, select the report and click the Run Report button. The next dialog presents the contents of the report. The following actions may be taken based on the selected contents of the report.
- Print.
- Refresh.
- Filter Editor.
- Filter by Selection.
- Apply Filter.
- Clear Filter.
- Show Auto Filter Row.
- Column Chooser
- Export Grid to Excel.
- Full Screen.
For reports that return a list of objects, the user will have the option to include custom fields on the report by checking the box on the Configuration Reports dialog. Some of the reports require additional parameters. If one of these reports is selected, the parameters will be displayed on the Report Properties dialog, and the user must provide a value for each parameter.
