Data Tab
The Data Tab displays the Archive data compared to the Archive's Source data. The Archive data are saved when the archive or backcast rule is executed. The Source data is obtained from the Archive's Source data as defined on the General Tab. The Tab contains two sections. The top section provides a graphical depiction of the data (Chart View), and the bottom section provides the numerical data (Grid View).
Chart View
The chart shows separate lines for the Archive data and Source data.
- Source. The actual data associated with the archive as defined on the General Tab.
- Archive. The archive data from the archive.
The series may be toggles on and off using the selection box in the upper right corner of the chart. Numerical values for a month may be viewed by moving the mouse over the chart. The full range of archive data in the system is available for viewing. However, the displayed range is based on the Date Range, Zoom and the Data Range Selection Bar.
Grid View
The numerical display shows the archive data for the selected Archive. Data in the grid may not be edited but may be deleted. Within the grid, the right-click menu is available when a row, a group of cells, or a single cell is highlighted.
Right-Click Menu
The Right-Mouse Menu allow quick access to deleting data points. This menu is only available in the Grid View.
Actions
The following common chart controls and actions are available on the Data Tab in the View menu, Action menu, and on the Toolbar:
- Save.
- Discard.
- Refresh.
- Edit (Backcasts & Archives Properties).
- Archive Selection.
- Show Chart.
- Show Grid.
- Zoom.
- Date Range.
- MPI.
- Export Grid to Excel.
- Options.
- Full Screen.
