Weather Tab
The Weather tab shows weather data for a selected Weather Zone/Station, a selected Weather Concept, and a selected Simulation Scenario. There is a separate drop-down box for each of these selectors.
- Weather Zone/Station. This drop-down box provides a list of all Stations and Zones that are configured in the Weather Module. This list does not depend on which simulation is selected.
- Weather Concept. This drop-down box provides a list of all Weather Concepts configured in the Weather Module. This list does not depend on which simulation is selected.
- Simulation Scenario. The third drop-down box provides a list of the weather scenarios configured in the Simulation Section. This list is configured in the Manage Simulation Scenarios section, which is accessed through the Tools menu.
The date range to display can be modified by changing the Date Range setting and Zoom setting on the toolbar or on the View menu.
Chart View
The top part of this tab provides a graphical depiction of the data. When available, actual data are shown for the selected Weather Zone/Station and Concept as well as the data for the selected simulation scenario.
Grid View
The bottom part shows the data values for the selected simulation scenario in a grid. The rows in the grid correspond to the date range that is shown in the graph.
Simulation scenario data in this grid are not editable. These data are imported using a Day-of-Week format providing values that can be rolled out onto annual calendars into future years. To change the values it is necessary to import the revised data using the Weather>Weather Simulation Data option on the Tools menu.
The right-click menu available when a single cell or a range of cells is highlighted allows the user to copy a range of cells. The selection can be pasted into another application such as Microsoft Excel.
