Node Access Tab

In order for a User to be able to view and modify a data series or rule, read/write access must be assigned. Access is assigned by granting an Access Role to Security Role. Users are assigned to Security roles.

The Node Access Tab manages the assignment of read/write access to an Access Role. The list of Nodes is displayed in the upper-left section of the dialog and is filtered by folders. Selecting a Node presents the available data series for assignment. The Read Access and Write Access boxes on the lower part of the dialog control the Access assignment.

To assign read/write access to an Access Role, select the Node and the data series from the list. Using the Read Access and Write Access boxes below the list tab, select an Available Access Role and move it to the Assigned Access Role box for the Read or Write Access functions.

• Available Access Role Box. This box displays unassigned Access Roles to the selected series.
• Assigned Access Role Box. This box displays the assigned Access Roles to the selected series.

When multiple actions are selected and an Access Role is displayed in both the Available Access Role Box and Assigned Access Role Box, the Access Role is assigned to some of the selected series, but not others.

The following common actions are available on the Node Access Tab.

• Filter Editor.
• Filter by Selection.
• Apply Filter.
• Clear Filter.
• Show Auto Filter Row.
• Column Chooser.
• Export Grid to Excel.
