Editing configuration data

Some editing functions become limited after data is versioned.

For definitions of the various configuration maintenance icons (, , and so forth), see Configuration buttons and icons.

  1. Go to Application Data > Configuration > Configuration Maintenance (Advanced).  

  2. On the Query tab, use the standard IEE Using the search utility to find the configuration data to edit.

  3. From the Results tab, select the entity to edit by clicking . An entity-specific tab opens, displaying the entity's tree.

  4. In the tree, click the specific configuration entity to edit. The applicable tab(s) appear in the pane below the tree.

    Note: Do not confuse the Meter Multiplier field associated with the register channel of a meter with the meter multiple field that appears in Configuration Maintenance for a combined meter configuration. The Meter Multiplier field associated with the register channel of a meter is the value that IEE uses in reporting calculations. This field also appears in Configuration Maintenance for a register channel entity, but is labeled the "Display Multiplier."

  5. Edit the data.

    In the main toolbar, click the camera icon to create a Configuration templates. Name the template and click OK to save add it to the template list for future use.

  6. (Optional) Click the Schedule Maintenance or Formula constants tab to view, edit, or add maintenance schedules and formula constants for this particular entity.

  7. Click Save.

  8. (Optional) Right-click the new entity to perform additional configuration tasks associated with this entity type. Allowable tasks vary depending on the entity type. Make certain to save after performing each additional task.
