Using the search utility

The Search Utility is available throughout IEE to help you find service point channels, account channels, meters, and other configuration entities.

IEE displays search results in a spreadsheet format with the service point ID in the first data column. Service points are the focal point of the IEE data model, as all configuration data is linked in some way to a specific service point.

Note: For AMI Interactive Communications and the AMI Connect Disconnect User Interfaces, the default search is based on Meter ID, not Service Point.

You can search one entity type to find another. For example, if you don't know the service point ID of the entity you need to view, but you know a meter associated with it, search for that meter. The search results show the service point.

Note: The search result of a Service Point ID always returns ALL service point channels associated with that ID.
