Bulk validation operation service

The Bulk Validation Operation Service processes bulk requests for validation items from the validation queue. It performs the following operations:

• Re-validate. Revalidates the readings.  If the readings pass, the items are removed from the queue.

• Manual Accept. Forces any validated reading that did not pass into a manually accepted state. This removes the selected ValidationWorkQueueItems.

• Resolve. Determines if rows should be added or removed from the ValidationWorkQueueItem table based on already processed validation logs.

Use the following procedure to configure a task template:

1. Go to System Operations > Task Management > Task Templates.

2. Use the dropdown menu to select the Task Type and Task Template. (Click Add to create a new task template. For more information, see Adding task templates.)

3. Configure the Task specific parameters. These parameters are defined after step 5 of this procedure.

4. Configure the Common task template parameters. For more information, see Task template parameters.

5. Click Save.

Run Validation Queue Resolver

Updates or creates validation queue items during AMI reading import (ARI) processing.

Run Bulk Validation Processor

Determines whether bulk validation operates. Select True to enable.
