Baseline generator
The Baseline Generator is a task adapter that generates baseline values for a service point. When the adapter processes a service point, it generates baseline readings for each service point channel associated with the baseline algorithm. There may be more than one baseline channel per service point.
Note: When a service point is enrolled in a demand response program, a baseline channel is created on the service point configuration.
Use this task template to generate baseline values on a recurring schedule or anytime from the Task Scheduler. Standard baseline algorithms generate baselines daily regardless of whether or not a Curtailment event is created. Baseline algorithms with user specified dates get calculated only when a user creates a Curtailment event.
Use the following procedure to configure a task template:
-
Go to System Operations > Task Management > Task Templates.
-
Use the dropdown menu to select the Task Type and Task Template. (Click Add to create a new task template. For more information, see Adding task templates.)
-
Configure the Task specific parameters. These parameters are defined after step 5 of this procedure.
-
Configure the Common task template parameters. For more information, see Task template parameters.
-
Click Save.
Task specific parameters:
Date this task last ran in AutoReRun mode
Defines the date and time this task last ran on a recurring schedule. The next scheduled run will process data marked with the following day's date.
IEE automatically displays the date that the task was run on a recurring schedule. If the task has never run, create a recurring schedule and set the date there, it will be the initial date for the recurring schedule. For more information about recurring schedules, see Recurring schedules overview.
This parameter can also be used when running the task in the Task Scheduler anytime. When running this task through the Task Scheduler, set the date, in Julian format, to the first date for which processing begins.
-
If only the Last Run Date is set, baselines are calculated for each date between the Last Run Date and the current date
-
If both the Last Run Date and the Baseline Date are set, baselines are calculated for all days between the Last Run Date and the Baseline Date
-
If only the Baseline Date is set, baselines are calculated for the date specified as the Baseline Date.
Baseline Date
Determines a specific date for which the baseline values are going to be calculated. This parameter is generally not used when running this task on a recurring schedule; this parameter is more likely used when you are running this task for a specific date using the Task Scheduler.
ServicePoint IDs
Defines a list of the service points that are used in calculating the baseline. The service point IDs are separated by commas. For each service point, linked service point channels that are configured for a baseline algorithm are used in the calculation. If no service points are specified here, all service point channels that are configured for a baseline algorithm are used in the baseline calculation.
Tip: It is not necessary to specify specific service point IDs here. You have a choice, you can specify specific service point IDs here,or the Baseline Generator will run against the service points that are set up in the curtailment programs.
