Creating a service point program

You may use an existing program as a starting point for creating a new program. To find an existing program, use the Filter/search option.

  1. Go to Meter Data Management > Application Data > Program Based Configuration > Program Configuration Manager.
  2. Click the Service Point tab.
  3. Click New.

Definitions for all entity types can be found in the IEE Program-Based Configuration XML API Guide.

  4. Configure the following parameters:

Defines the program ID used to run the report.

    ClosedCommodity

    ClosedDescription

A text description for this entity.

    ClosedIsEnabled

Determines if you can create an instance using this program. When not specified, the default value is true.

User Defined Attributes are template values used to populate fields on the service point instance. Define the UDA in the User defined attribute table, and specify default values for the attribute on the User-defined attribute default values screen.

  5. Create premises, addresses, service point channels, and other configuration attributes by expanding those sections and clicking Create or New.
  6. Create or modify rate assignments by expanding the section. See Adding or modifying rate assignments.
  7. Click Save as XML to save the file as an .xml type file outside of IEE.
