Requests

The Requests page is located under the DI Configurations menu. This page displays a list of DI configurations- a set of parameter settings contained in a configuration file and referred to as a Configuration Change Request (CCR). Configurations may be changed at Itron's recommendation to optimize for your specific environment or to adjust sensitivity or other parameters involved in generating outcome alarms or other data processing. Use this page as a utility user to approve CCRs created by Itron users. A single CCR is limited to changing only one individual feature or capability per agent. So, in some cases, Itron must create—and the utility admin user must approve—multiple CCRs. CCRs may target a single device, a group of devices, or all devices with the application and feature installed. Devices are identified by their Electronic Serial Numbers (ESN).

This page is only available if your App Platform deployment has Distributed Intelligence (DI) and is only available to DI Itron Administrators and DI Customer Administrators.

The Requests table includes CCR identification numbers, descriptions, states, and other related information. By default, it is sorted by the CCR Date/Time, with the most recent CCR listed first. You can change the sorting by clicking the header of most columns. The following table describes the features and columns of the Requests table:

  • Discrepancies <#>. The Discrepancies count is a link to open the DI Request Discrepancies List. The stated number <#> is the number of configurations for which the agent's reported version differs from the version recorded by the Cloud Config Service.

  • Refresh (). Click this in the table heading to refresh the Requests table. Click this in individual table rows to refresh just that request.

  • Filter (). Click to apply a filter to the Requests table.

  • Action (). Click this in a column heading for a list of actions to apply to the column.

    • Hide. Hide columns so they disappear.

    • Unhide. Unhide columns so they appear.

  • ID. The unique identifier for the CCR (not a job ID from the AMI head end software). The number is a link to open the Configuration Details page. For more information, see Viewing configuration details.
