Group Types

The Group Types page is located under the Platform Administration menu. Use this page to create, delete, and modify group types that appear on the Group Maintenance tool in the Analytics Portal. A group type is a collection of similar service point groups.

Group types on this page were either created by the user, imported through the MDI interface, or are Itron Analytics defaults. The Itron Analytics default group types cannot be removed or modified. These include:

  • City

  • County

  • District

  • Gateway

  • NeighborhoodCodeID

  • NonOutageReportingGroup

  • OutageSquelching

    Tip: You can edit this group type's display name, but no other characteristics.

  • PostalCode

  • PressureZone

  • Region

  • Route

  • Settlement

  • SewerBilling

  • Ward

  • Zone
