Model Tab

All model specification and model settings are defined on the Model tab of the Model Properties dialog. Model properties can be specified for an individual model or for a group of selected models. The options that are configured on this form are segmented into the following groups of Settings:

Model Method

Methods available in this group are listed below. Each model includes specific settings available in the model method sections.

• Model Method - Pass Through.
• Model Method - Rotation.
• Model Method - Profiling .
• Model Method - MetrixND Custom Model.

Forward Tuning

These settings relate to the most recent hours of actual data for a model and adjustment of the model forecast based on residuals for these recent hours. Settings for Forward Tuning are in the Forward Tuning section.

Back Calibration

These settings relate to error correction based on model performance over a recent days, for example, the last 14 days. Lags up to 28 days are allowed. Residuals based on a model backcast with actual weather are used in the error correction process. Settings for Back Calibration are in the Back Calibration section.
