Menu and Toolbar

The menu appears at the top of the program and provides a fixed list of menu items:

• File Menu. Access to Save/Discard changes, Print, Exit, Manage Settings
• Edit Menu. Access to Cut, Copy, Paste, and Find
• Navigate Menu. Select module to show in Workspace
• View Menu. List of View options that apply to the selected module and tab
• Actions Menu. List of Actions that can be taken within the selected module and tab
• Tools Menu. List of Tools that can be applied within the selected module and tab
• System Menu. Access to Logs, Alerts, Tasks, Security, System Settings, Run Command
• Help Menu. Access to Help system and About dialog

Clicking on a menu item exposes the submenu with the list of available actions. The File, Edit, Navigate, System and Help sub-menus are the same regardless of the selected module. The View, Action, and Tools sub-menus vary based on the selected module and tab within a module.

The toolbar appears just below the menu and contains buttons that initiate actions, control list options, and control graph options. Each view contains buttons that apply to the module and the module's tab in the Workspace. Some buttons are common to many views in the system. All toolbar buttons have a corresponding menu item. Hover the mouse over a toolbar button to activate the tool tip which displays the button's name.
