OHS dashboard

Using a web browser, log on to a designated Itron portal in an environment where the Hybrid Connector is currently deployed (for example, portal.itrontotal.com). If you have access to multiple tenants within this environment, make sure that you are currently working in the correct tenant:

  1. Click the Account icon () in the page header and select Switch tenant. In the dialog, the current tenant name appears under your account name.

  2. If needed, select a different tenant and click Update.

  3. From the main menu, go to Hybrid Connector > On-premises Hybrid Service.

The dashboard displays a table with a list of OHS instances that are configured for the current tenant. From the dashboard, you can add a new OHS instance, edit and manage the OHS configuration, and download the OHS installer. The dashboard table consists of the following columns:

  • Health. Indicates the latest health status of the OHS instance. Hover over the icon in this column to reveal a health-status tooltip. To run a new health check, click Actions () and select Initiate health check.

  • Is Default. Indicates whether the instance of OHS is the currently configured instance (true or false).

  • Name. Unique name given to identify the OHS instance. Click an instance name to navigate to instance details, arranged on the following tabs: Health, Properties, Configuration, and Configuration status.

  • Datasource. The system that provides data to outcomes applications.

  • Outcomes. The outcomes or applications that are configured to operate for the OHS instance.

  • Configuration status. Represents one of the following statuses of the OHS configuration:

    • NotConfigured. Instance is created but not configured.

    • NotApplied. Configuration is defined but has not been updated to the OHS.

    • Configured. OHS has applied the configuration.

  • Version. The OHS version number.

  • Installed on machine. The machine on which the OHS instance is installed.

  • Actions (). Provides access to the following actions for the given OHS instance:

    • Initiate health check. Runs diagnostics to check whether the OHS instance is provisioned and operating successfully.

    • Download latest installer. Downloads the latest published version of the OHS installer.

    • Download client ID & secret. Downloads a new Client ID and secret zip file. The password is displayed in a dialog and allows the user to update the values if needed.

Important! Once you close the dialog, you will not be able to retrieve this password. If you close it by mistake, you must download the zip file again. To do this, click Actions () on the instance row and select Download Client ID & Secret. A new password will be generated upon download.

    • Set default instance. Sets the selected OHS instance as the default instance for the current tenant. Selecting this option opens a dialog for you to confirm this setting.

    • Upload file. Opens a dialog that allows you to upload any OHS-supported content file types. Expand the File types drop-down menu to view the supported file types. After selecting a type, click Browse to locate one or more files of the same file type. Upon successful upload, a file-upload notification is sent to subscribers of this notification type.

    • Configure. Opens a dialog from which you can change the data source and add or remove outcomes.

To create a new instance of OHS for the current tenant, click the Add icon () at the bottom of the screen. This opens a Create new instance dialog. For details, see Installing a new instance of OHS.
