Adding a New Transaction

This feature enables you to select a transaction type and then create a new transaction. In some cases, you can upload a file to create new transactions in bulk.

1. Navigate to Search > MTS transactions and click the Add icon () at the bottom of the screen. A dialog box appears.

2. Select a Transaction type.

   The following transaction types allow you to import a CSV file to populate fields for bulk uploads:

   • Customer details request
   • Meter exchange notification (bulk import option only)
   • Meter fault and issue notification
   • Network tariff notification (bulk import option only)
   • Provide meter data request
   • Site access request

   Note:  For details about CSV file formats and bulk imports for these transaction types, see Bulk Upload Validation.

3. For transaction types that don't require bulk imports, click Continue, complete the Properties fields, and click Complete. Otherwise, skip to Bulk Upload Validation.
