Special Conditions
The Special conditions panel provides important notes about the service point, including the following conditions:
- Site hazard. For example, a dangerous animal is on the premises.
- Access details. For example, a gate code is required.
- Life support. For example, medical equipment is present and electricity should not be interrupted.
To edit a field, click any hyper-linked text to open one of the following dialog boxes:
- Edit access details. Select Existing access details or Received access details. Under New translated access details, edit the text as needed (maximum of 100 characters) and then click Update to save your changes.
-
Edit site hazard. Under Existing site hazard, select a Special condition check box to indicate that the condition should be removed from the system once the transaction is processed. For example, a site hazard was previously assigned a special condition code, but a new transaction has been received and indicates that the previous site hazard is no longer valid and a new one exists. You can assign a new special condition code or description to the new site hazard. To save your changes, click Update.
Note: MTS attempts to map the site hazard to a site hazard and special condition record (see also MTS System Settings > Hazard Map). If a matching site hazard name is found, then the corresponding special condition in that record is assigned to this site hazard and is listed here. If no matching site hazard record is found, then a blank special condition is assigned to the site hazard. In this case, you can enter a description of up to 80 characters.
