Licensing settings

The new Licensing functionality introduces several system settings. They become visible after you have provisioned the service principals (see Provisioning Service Principals) and can be found under System Administration > System Settings >. Licensing.

  • Grant Type. Defines the authentication method used for authenticating IEE for access token requests.

  • Identity Client ID. Used for requesting access tokens from the Identity Server to access Licensing APIs.

  • Identity Client Scope.Used by the Identity Server to determine the access that will be granted to an access token.

  • Identity Client Secret. Used for security in requests for access tokens from the Identity Server.

  • Identity Server URL. Indicates the Identity Server that will issue access tokens to IEE.

  • License Gateway URI. Identifies the License REST API used for license verification.
