Task monitor
The IEE Rich Client, Task Monitor displays all tasks in the system based on the criteria in the selected task filter. For example, you can view which tasks completed successfully, which tasks are still running, and which tasks generated errors.
Depending on the workgroup your user name is assigned to, you might not have access to all servers or all tasks. See your system administrator to request more or less access.
The Task Monitor includes:
-
The Task Filter (or Task Statistics) pane controls the tasks the Task Monitor displays. Select an existing task filter or click Task Filter to create new filter criteria. (You must set the filters before the Task Monitor can display tasks.)
-
Use the arrow buttons to move among the various pages in the task list, when the list spans more than one page.
-
The Refresh Rate is set in seconds. Enter a new number to change the rate, and click the
arrow to implement it. Keep in mind that if
task polling is performed at intervals that are greater than the refresh rate, then no new tasks will appear until they are first polled.
-
When you right-click on any task row, a menu with a number of Task actions appears. The options vary depending on the filter chosen for the list. For example, when displaying IEE Services, the Reschedule and Edit options do not appear. These options are duplicated on the toolbar at the top of the IEE window.
