Task actions
Right-click any task in the task monitor to see an action menu. Items on the menu may include all or some of the following, depending on context (task status, task type, and so on).

Cancel. Stops the task and removes it from the queue.

Reschedule. Launches a dialog where you can select tasks and assign a new start date and time, select a server, and assign a new priority. Remember that you can select multiple tasks and have the new schedule apply to all of them.

Move to History. Displays as an option for filters that have Display current tasks only selected on the Task Filter window. This marks the historical flag on the task and it only shows when the task filter specifies that historical tasks should be displayed. Use this setting to remove the task from the current view of tasks.

Show. Displays as an option for filters that have Include historical tasks selected on the Task Filter window. It allows the task to be viewed with filters that only show current tasks.

Hold. Pauses a running task or keeps a scheduled task in the queue until it is released.

Release. Removes a task from Hold status and puts it back in the queue to run as scheduled.

Run Now. Overrides a task instance's scheduled time and runs it immediately.

Stop Running Task. Pauses a task but does not remove it from the queue.

Edit. Opens a new tab on the Task Monitor window that allows you to edit the task and save it with the new configuration.

Task Logs. Opens a new tab on the Task Monitor window that displays log information for selected tasks.

View Child Tasks. Opens a new tab on the Task Monitor window that displays information about any child tasks that are associated with the particular task that was selected.

Export Task Log Messages. Creates a CSV or XLS file that contains all of the information in the select task log. The time zone header in the exported log file is listed in UTC. Use CTRL to select multiple tasks to include in the export file.
