Resolving import failures

The Import fail queue displays information about the import task and failure items associated with the task.

When you select a single import task, the Import Fail Queue items for the task are listed. The Task Details tab (lower window pane) shows the task ID and import file name for the selected task.

When you select a single failure item, the Item Details tab (lower window pane) shows the last read date, resubmit file name, failure message, and any user-entered notes for the item.

To resolve an import failure, right-click the item and select one of the following functions:

  • Refresh Queue

  • Filter Queue. (See Filtering the import fail queue).

  • Reschedule Task Now. Reschedule the selected task(s) using the original server, start time, and priority.

  • Reschedule Task. Displays the Reschedule Task Dialog box and then reschedules the selected task(s) using the server, start time, and selected in the dialog.

  • Process Submit File. Resubmits the task using the resubmit file.

  • View Task Log. Displays the associated task log (warnings and errors only) in a Task Log tab at the bottom of the page.

  • Edit Task Parameters. Displays the Task Edit tab at the bottom of the page where you can edit task parameters.

  • Change Queue State. Displays the Change Queue State dialog. Select a queue state from the dropdown menu and click OK to change the state of all the selected queue items.

  • Edit Configuration. Opens Configuration Maintenance for the associated service point in a separate IEE tab.
