Import fail queue
The Import Fail Queue provides a central location for resolving XML reading import failures. A queue entry is created when the import task successfully parses the file, but one or more readings are not saved. The Import Fail Queue provides information about the failure, status messages, and other information useful in Resolving import failures.
Use the following procedure to view the import fail queue:

Go to Systems Operations > Queues and Diagnostics > Import Fail Queue.
Tip: You can also access Queues and Diagnostics under Meter Data Management > Tools > Queues and Diagnostics.

Click Filtering the import fail queue to restrict the XML import exceptions to display.

Select the ReadingXMLImportTask in the task list to view details for a specific import task. The Task Details tab (lower window pane) shows the Task ID and import file name for the selected task.

Select the item in the Import Failure Queue item listing to view details for a specific failure item. The Item Details tab (lower window pane) shows the Last Read Date, Resubmit File Name, Failure Message, and any user-entered notes for the item.

To enter notes for a failure item, select the Item Details tab and enter notes in the Notes pane.

To Resolving import failures, right-click the item in the list.

Click Refresh to refresh the queue listing.
Tip: Click on a column heading to sort the lists by column heading. To sort in the reverse order, click the column heading again.
