Deleting event code mappings

Event Code Mappings can be manually deleted from the GUI; however, an event code mapping cannot be deleted if the device event data is stored in the system. For more information about purging data, see Historical purge task.

You can also mark event code mappings for Discard to prevent unwanted event codes from being imported into IEE.

1. Go to Device Events >Tools > Event Code Mappings.

2. Click the event code mapping to select it. You can use CTRL and SHIFT keys to select multiple mappings.

3. Click Delete.

4. Click Yes to confirm or No to cancel the deletion.
