Building configurations from existing templates

You can add configuration data based on various Configuration templates.

1. Go to Application Data>Configuration > Configuration Templates, Or click the Configuration Templates icon () in the toolbar. A list of templates appears in the top pane of the window.
2. Highlight the template from which the new configuration is to be built.
3. Click Build from Template. A new tab appears with a tree structure of the various configuration entities. Entities that require editing are preceded with a red X. These must be edited in order to successfully create a new and unique configuration.
4. Expand all the configuration elements (entities) in the tree and go through each one, reconfiguring each as necessary, making sure to specifically address the ones with a red X.
5. When the entities are configured, click Save.
6. (Optional) To use this new configuration as a template for creating additional configurations, click the Camera icon () to open a dialog where you can name and describe the new template.
