Assigning real time prices

Real time pricing is characterized by commodity-based, short-interval prices that can change rapidly. You can assign a service point with a real-time price stream to a specific charge.

1. Go to Rate Modeler > Rates > Rate Configuration > Assign Real Time Prices.

2. The Interval Charge tree shows the names of the available rates. (Click the plus sign to expand the rate schedule and view its charges.)

3. Click a Rate or Charge to view its details.

4. Click a Charge in the tree to select it.

5. Click Select Channel to launch the IEE search utility (Using the search utility).

6. Find the service point to assign to this charge and click the select button .

7. Click Save.

Note: When you configure the premise for a new service point channel, a dropdown menu contains the list of real time prices. Click the refresh button beside the Real-Time Price field to verify the dropdown menu contains an updated list.
