Managing groups of exceptions
The left pane of the Remote Interrogation Queue window lists groups that you can use to restrict and select exceptions for display in the exception list. For example, you can display exceptions for a single workstation or for particular failure type. The following groups provide different ways of looking at the queue and managing exceptions:
-
Schedule (calling schedule)
-
Reference Cycle (billing cycle)
-
Workstation
-
Service Mode Server
-
Failure Type
-
Meter Type (masters and subordinates/slaves are listed separately in the queue)
The total number of current exceptions in the queue is shown in parentheses beside each major group heading. The number of exceptions for each subgroup is shown in parentheses beside each subgroup item. When you select a group or subgroup, you can sort the information in the queue list based on any column by clicking the column header.
You can manually select a group by selecting multiple items in the Exceptions List. To multi-select, click an item, press and hold Shift, and select the last item to include in the group.
When you select a group, you can perform Using the toolbar in the remote interrogation queue functions that will affect all exceptions for the selected group.
Note: You can also Managing individual exceptions.
