Create a monitoring data program

Create a monitoring data program that specifies routing configuration information for one or more channels of interval or register data.

  1. Go to Meter Data Management > Application Data > Program Based Configuration > Program Configuration Manager.
  2. Click the MonitoringData tab.
  3. Click New.

    Definitions for all entity types can be found in the IEE Program-Based Configuration XML API Guide.

  4. Configure the following parameters:

    Program Summary

    ClosedProgram ID

    Identifies the program.

    ClosedDescription

    Text description of the program.

    ClosedModified By. This field is view only.

    The user ID of the last user to modify the program.

    ClosedLast Modified. This field is view only.

    The date and time of the last modification.

    Data Program Channels

    This pane lists the data channels associated with the program. You can create, edit, and delete data channels.

    • To create a new channel, click Create. For more information about creating a new channel, see Configuring a monitoring data program channel.
    • To edit a channel, select the channel and click Edit.
    • To delete a channel, select the channel and click Delete.

    For more information about working with monitoring data programs, see Monitoring data program under Import Data Manager.

  5. Click Save as XML to save the program as an .xml type file outside of IEE.
  6. Click Save or Save & Close to save the program.
