Assigning queue items to operators

IEE allows you to assign queue items to operators in the following ways:

  • Distribute queue items evenly across a group of operators, by percentage or by maximum number of items.

  • Assign an exact number of items to each operator.

For more information about reassigning queue items that are already assigned to other operators, see Reassigning queue items.

  1. Go to Queue Assignments:

    • MDM > Validation Queue > Validation Queue Assignments

    • AMI > Monitoring > AMI Billing Export Queue > ABE Queue Assignments

  2. Filter the queue to include only those queue items you want to assign. For more information, see Filtering queue items for queue assignment.

  3. In the New Assignments pane, select an assignment method:

    • Auto Assign All Items. Assigns an equal percentage of unassigned queue items to each selected operator.

    • Assign up to a Maximum Of. Assigns queue items to each operator until the maximum number is reached. This number includes queue items that are already assigned to the operator as well as new queue items.

  4. In the Users pane, select an Operator Team from the dropdown menu. The assignment list displays only operators who are members of the selected team. To include all operators, select All.

To clear all of the checkboxes in the list, clear the Select/Deselect All checkbox. IEE displays the percentage or number of assignments for each operator in the New Items column.
