Working in the summary view
The Summary View tab displays the export requests in IEE that match the filter criteria you specified. The Summary View displays request information at the configuration group or batch level.
Use the Summary View to:
Populate the Summary View grid with requests that meet a specific criteria
On the Summary View tab, click the Filtering the summary view button. You must first specify filter criteria to populate the grid pane with export requests.
Monitor the status of requests: individual requests, batch requests, and group requests
The Summary View provides detailed information about each request including the number of items in each request. The top left corner of the Summary View displays the number of requests and the percentage of requests in each status.
Manually add an export request from the Summary View tab
On the Summary View tab, click the Adding a new request button. Here you can add a one time export for various time ranges.

-
From the Edit Request Properties dialog, change the Deadline Date and or the Wait-Until Date.

- Double-click a request in the Summary View, or
- Right-click a request in the Summary View and select Item View, or
- From the Summary View, click the Item View tab.
Export the request item data to Excel
Right-click a request in the Summary View and select Export to Excel. You are prompted to save the RequestList.xls file.
Actions for Requests in an Exception State
For requests in an Exception state, you can do the following:
(A request is in the Exception state if the Exception column has a value greater than or equal to 1.)
Assign an owner who is responsible for resolving the exception, or to change the status of the queue
Right-click one or more requests in an Exception state and select Edit Queue Properties. All requests must be in the Exception state.
From the Edit Queue Properties dialog, you can assign an owner to the request, specify a queue status, and add notes.
The Owner field displays a list of all IEE users in the ItronIdenity database table.
For more information about configuring queue statuses, see Data export queue status.
Acknowledge that a request is in an exception state
Right-click one or more requests in an Exception state and select Accept Exceptions. All items must be in the Exception state.
From the Accept Exceptions dialog, you can choose from a list of user-defined reasons for the acceptance and provide notes on why the exception was accepted.
This updates the status of the request to Exception Accepted, and no further processing is performed. This status is used mainly to remove requests (and request items) out of the filter-by-exception.
For more information about configuring Resolution Reasons, see
Data export resolution reason.
Reprocess an exception
Right-click one or more requests in an Exception state and select Submit for Reprocess.
