Import/Exports

The Import and Export Wizards are convenient tools to managing data in the MetrixIDR system. These tools are available on Tools Menu and described in the Import Wizard and Export Wizard sections.

Import Wizard

The Import Wizard allows the user to import CSV and Excel files for most components of the system. The imports is executed manually using the step-by-step Wizard instructions. Details about the Import Wizard and the formats supported for specific data elements are provided in the Import Wizard section.

Export Wizard

The Export Wizard provides a complete set of exports for configuration and time-series data. The Wizard configures CSV and Excel formatted files. Almost all components of the system can be exported. Details about the Export Wizard and the formats supported for specific data elements are provided in the Export Wizard section.
