Pressure Compensations
The Pressure Compensations node appears in the navigation pane only if you enable gas endpoint configurations that include pressure compensation factors (for more information, see Device Configurations). Use it to add, remove, view, reorder, and modify the properties of pressure compensation factors (PCOMPs) supported by your business unit's workflows (for more information, see Common Business Administration Procedures).
In Pressure Compensations view, you have the ability to add multiple list items that have the same PCOMP factor (Value field). This ability is useful when there are gas meters with different index types that require identical PCOMP factors deployed in the field. You can create a meaningful description for each meter index type and PCOMP factor combination that a field service representative might encounter.
The Pressure Compensations view gives you the option to export the pressure compensations list to a CSV file (comma-separated value or comma-delimited plain text file) that can be imported into other instances of the FDM server client or into other applications, such as Microsoft Excel (for more information, see Exporting FDM Lists to CSV Files and Importing FDM List Items from CSV, XML, TXT, and BMR Files).
To add, modify, and remove your pressure compensation factors, follow the common procedures for adding, modifying, and removing list items (for more information, see Adding summary list items, Modifying the details of a category item, and Removing summary list items.)
